Shawls Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2014

Langley Fox Hemingway (illustrator and model) was depicted on the photos with beautiful and colorful scarves on her shoulders. This collection is the result of collaboration between three rising artists from different countries – Frenchman André, American Kenny Scharf and Chilean INTI.

INTI and Kenny Scharf decided to create a new design for a large square silk scarf from Louis Vuitton. The works of INTI are inspired by the ancient culture of the Andean people. He presented a scarf in shades of gold and orange with a picture of one of the most important deities in the Inca religion – the god Viracocha, painted as the sun. Kenny placed on a square shawl a bright collage of astronomical images and symbols of pop culture, placed on the background blurred psychedelic ornament.

Andre took as a basis Shawl Monogram, used protective flooring from his own studio. He decorated scarf of silk and wool with spots and splashes of paint and put on it his character Mr A – blue figure with asymmetrical eyes.

In addition, the collection includes new versions of products with leopard print created by artist Steven Sprauzo, as well as new design for Shawl Monogram Rayures, decorated with pale blue stripes and bright red lines, and a silk square scarf Monogram Papillon in two colors.
